Who I Am

I'm a born-and-raised Orange County local who grew up on these beaches, surfed these breaks, and explored every corner of this place. I'm not a travel blogger who visited once - this is my home.

I've spent 23 years figuring out where locals actually go, which restaurants are worth it, which beaches to avoid on weekends, and all the hidden spots tourists never find. Now I'm sharing it all with you.

Why Travel The OC Exists

Most Orange County guides are written by people who visited for a weekend and just repackaged TripAdvisor reviews. That's not this.

My Orange County Story

I learned to surf at Salt Creek when I was 10. I've had a thousand summer nights at Huntington Beach bonfires. I know which taco shops are actually good (and which ones are just tourist traps). I've hiked Top of the World more times than I can count.

This isn't just research for me - it's my life. Every beach in my guides? I've surfed there. Every restaurant? I've eaten there (multiple times). Every hiking trail? I can tell you exactly where to park and when the light is best.

Respect the locals and the place. I'll tell you where to go, but also how to be respectful. This is my home - help me keep it awesome.
